Trio Wolski's music is a mixture of traditional Nordic folk melodies and own compositions. Sophisticated arrangements are varied with free improvisations and with their special instrumentation, they create a sound that constantly shifts in dynamics and intensities.
The group has its base in folk music, but that has not prevented them from breaking the tradition and giving concerts outside the traditional folk & world music scene.
Trio Wolski was nominated for this year's Newcomer Award at the Danish Music Awards Folk 2016. This gave them the opportunity to perform at several major folk music scenes around Sweden and Denmark.
In the spring of 2018, they were nominated for this year's Newcomer Award at the Swedish Folk & World Music Gala in Norrköping. Shortly afterwards they released their first album "Late Bloomer".
The fall of 2018 they will perform as musicians in the musical Pelle Erövraren at Østre Gasværk in Copenhagen.
