EU JAZZ WOMEN is Carita Boronska (vocals/piano/composition), Mar Sánchez (guitar), Luca Kézdy (violin), Patti Ballinas (drums).

EU JAZZ WOMEN starts in the north with Swedish/Polish singer, songwriter, composer Carita Boronska - passes through Hungary where we find Luca Kézdy on violin - then reaches Mallorca/Spain to find Scottish/Mexican Patti Ballinas on drums and ends in the south with guitarist/composer Mar Sánchez, Seville/Spain.

In 2019 Carita started playing at venues/festivals with Patti Ballinas, drums (Scotland).

In 2021 at Womex Carita met violin player Luca Kézdy (Hungary) and soon after they were playing together at Café Central, Madrid/Spain. In May 2022 Carita, Luca, Patti invited Mar Sánchez (on guitar) to join the band at a gig in Barcelona. In the summer 2022 Carita and Mar continued working together in Sweden performing their own music at Malmö Live (The Creative Bubble) sponsored by Kulturrådet (The Swedish Arts Council)

• 4 Female musicians and composers come together to collaborate.

• Carita Boronska (Sweden) and Scottish Patti Ballinas (Spain) in 2019. That year they played at the Canary Islands internacional jazz festival.

• Carita met violinplayer Luca Kézdy from Hungary in a jamsession at Womex in Portugal 2021.

• In May 2022 guitarist Mar Sanchez (Sevilla) joined and soon after Mar and Carita worked together at Malmö Live sponsored by The Swedish Art Council.
