Emelie Roos is one of Sweden's foremost recorder virtuosos with a versatile musicianship. She lives in Höör in central Scania, and with Dohyo Sol has put this village on the international classical music map with the Höör Baroque festival and ensemble. In 2022, Höör won the hearts of baroque reviewers and listeners and won a Grammy with the album "Golovinmusiken". Emelie Roos is active as a recorder soloist, chamber musician, artistic director and educator. She is educated at Det Kongl. Danish Music Conservatory and Royal The Academy of Music in Stockholm. Emelie works regularly with the ensembles Höör Barock, Duo SolRoos and Ensemble Gemma. She has played with Drottningholmsteatern, Malmö Stadsteater, Malmö Opera, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Baroque, Karlsson Barock, Arte Dei Suonatori, Women's Orchestra, Drottningholms Baroque Ensemble and others.
